【Dutch Parents Visit Kindergarten Every Day?】

オランダでは毎日が保育参観？！
はい。本当です。
オランダではワークシェアリングが進んでおり、
ママとパパがそれぞれ週3.4回働いて
それ以外は子育てを代わり番こに行う
家庭が多いのです。
日本のように、慌ただしく子どもを送って
仕事へ向かう姿ではなく、
午前10時までは自由に参観できるので、
時間を気にせず保育園での子どもたちの
様子を見ている親の姿があります。
親が自由に保育室にいることを認めているのは
日本では考えられないですね。
幼児のおやつの時間に一緒に座って参加している親もいます。
徹底して地域や親に情報開示するのは
1960年代から始まった極端な移民の受け入れで
オランダ社会で大混乱が起きた時に、
地域や親の協力なくしては
保育や教育が成り立たないと
政府が悟ったからだそうです。
日本人のママ・パパで、
参観に行ってビックリした人もいるのではないでしょうか？
軍隊教育みたいだった、
先生から「ダメ」とたくさん言われていた、
など
後からショックを受けたことはありませんか？
オランダでは最初から情報開示をしていますし、
親も積極的に保育・教育に関わっています。
これからの日本はどんな方向に進むのでしょうか…？

Is it true that parents visit and watch their children in kindergarten in NL?
Yes, it is.
Both parents working is very common in NL, but they share the work in a way that both can take care of the kids, like working less days.
Japanese parents rush to take their children to kindergarten and go to work. On the other hand, in NL, parents can visit kindergartens and see how their kids spend time there. Until 10 am, it's free for parents to be in kindergarten.
Dutch government discloses the information because the government realized how important to do this. When NL accepted many immigrants in 1960's, Dutch society was caught in the melee. Schools and kindergartens needed to help with parents and society. That's why Dutch society values a cooperative relationship with local people.
I heart some Japanese parents was shocked to know how their children were educated in kindergarten. The parents said the education was like army.
By going far in disclosing information, more and more parents engage the education.
I'm wondering where Japanese society is headed....
