クリスマスは大人にもプレゼント😍オランダ生活

クリスマスイブは彼の家族とディナー。

私は着物で参加しました💓

お家へお邪魔すると、

大きなツリーとたっくさんのプレゼントが！

I spent a great time with Rica's family on Christmas Eve.

I was surprised I saw a lot of presents under this Christmas tree. 

 

リカくんのお父さん、お母さん、お兄さん夫婦、私たちの6人

一人一人にプレゼント💓🎁✨

(妹さんカップルはお仕事で不参加でした)

Rica's younger sister and her boyfriend had job in Switzerland so they couldn't take part in the Christmas party. Other family member gathered Rica's parents house and ate dinner together.

リカくんの家族は、12月になると

プレゼントリストというものを発表します。

Everyone makes a list of Christmas presents in December. Sharing what each person wants to get is good idea. Of course, people can give other things too. Thinking about what is good for the person is the most important.

欲しいものリストをみんなでシェアして

クリスマスプレゼントに何を買えばいいか

わかるようにするというものです。

もちろん、リスト以外のものをプレゼントしてもOK！

大切なのは、相手のことを考えて

プレゼントを選んだということ。

クリスマスプレゼントを買うために、

かなりのお金と時間を費やしました。

でも、みんなの喜ぶ顔が見れたし

私もとても楽しめたので良かった💓

Rica and I spent time and money to get these presents. I was so happy to have seen family's glad face when they opened the presents.

一人一人がみんなの前で順に

プレゼントを開けたり、

大人たちもプレゼントがもらえるのは

日本にはない文化やなぁ〜と思いました！

In Netherlands, people open the presents in front of everyone. People can see the reactions very well. This culture is different from my Japanese family. My family gives present and open not in front of everyone. I usually give presents to my nieces, nephews and sisters. On the other hand, in Netherlands, people can get presents regardless of age. Christmas presents would be fun for everyone.

I felt so happy and comfortable when I spent time with his family.

i have no doubt for living in Netherlands happily. I can't wait to come back again soon!
